The Latte Effect
 

Manufactured with a food grade compliant color-changing additive, when cold, the lid is a regular dark (coffee) color.

When hot, the lid turns red to remind your customers to be careful.

As the drink cools, the color of the lid changes back to the regular coffee color.

  

When the lid is used ontop of Lattes or Cappuccinos the froth or foam on top of the coffee may slow the color change.

As the customer carries the cup he or she will move around the contents and the coffee will turn the lid red.
